Heather N. Hudson joined EysterKey in August of 2000 and became a partner with the firm in January of 2004. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1997. Ms. Hudson is a graduate of Washington and Lee University School of Law (J.D., 2000), where she was a member of the Capital Defense Journal and the Environmental Law Digest. She was admitted to the Alabama State Bar and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama in 2000, and to the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama in 2001. Ms. Hudson’s practice is primarily focused on legal research and writing and appellate practice. She also has experience in civil litigation, including class actions, in the management of document discovery in complex litigation. Ms. Hudson served as class counsel in In re Managed Care Litigation, MDL 1334; In re Insurance Brokerage Antitrust Litigation, MDL 1663; In re Pharmacy Benefit Management Litigation; as well as In re Mattel, Inc., Toy Lead Paint Products Liability Litigation. Ms. Hudson is a member of the Morgan County and American Bar Associations, as well as the Alabama State Bar. Ms Hudson was presented with the Alabama Defense Lawyer Association Diversity Task Force Award in 2005. She is presently a member of the Alabama Association for Justice. Ms. Hudson served as a member of the Morgan County Wills for Heroes Committee and participated in the 2008 Morgan County Chamber of Commerce Leadership Development Series for Young Professionals. Ms. Hudson is also a registered mediator. |
